Defending champions Paul Coll and Hania El Hammamy continue their title challenges as they take on Saurav Ghosal and Emily Whitlock, respectively.
Home interest comes in the form of English duo Georgina Kennedy and Nathan Lake. Kennedy will take on Belgium’s Tinne Gilis, while Lake has a difficult encounter against Peru’s Diego Elias.
Elias will become the sport’s first South American World No.1 on Monday following World No.3 Mohamed ElShorbagy’s surprise defeat to Karim Abdel Gawad yesterday.
Play begins at 12:00 (GMT+1) when USA No.1 Amanda Sobhy takes on Egypt’s Salma Hany, while Frenchman Victor Crouin and Nicolas Mueller will draw the action to a close at 20:15.
