Day Two: How To Watch Live

The Allam British Open continues today at the Allam Sport Centre at the University of Hull, with the seeded players making their bows at the PSA World Tour Platinum level tournament.

The top 16 seeds in both draws will start their campaigns today, with a whopping 32 matches taking place in the venue. Eight of those matches will be played on the glass court, with the other 24 split across Courts 4, 5 and 6.

Play gets underway at 12:00 (GMT+1), and you can watch glass court action at the Allam British Open live on SQUASHTV, with play from the side courts being streamed on the SQUASHTV Youtube channel.

Two of the world’s top 12 take each other on in an intriguing match up to start the day’s play on the glass court, as USA’s Olivia Clyne will face England’s Georgina Kennedy for a place in the third round of the competition.

Three-time Allam British Open winner Mohamed ElShorbagy and World No.3 Hania El Hammamy will follow that match, before Mostafa Asal and Fares Dessouky meet in a repeat of the GillenMarkets Canary Wharf Classic final from just a couple of weeks ago.

English No.1 Sarah-Jane Perry and World No.1 Paul Coll will both be in action in the late shift, along with men’s top seed Ali Farag, who takes on wildcard Nick Wall for a place in the last 16.

Two former World Champions, in Egypt’s Karim Abdel Gawad and Tarek Momen, will be in action on the side courts, along with the likes of New Zealand’s Joelle King, US No.1 Amanda Sobhy and the ‘Peruvian Puma’, Diego Elias.
